Council will be holding Special Meetings of Council to facilitate budget deliberations on January 23, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and January 24, 2012 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

These meetings will be held in the Council Chambers.

Community-Based Strategic Plan

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula will be holding special Committee of the Whole meetings to review the 2011 Draft Budget.

These meetings will be in the Council chambers as follows:

  • 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on February 8th, 2011
  • 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on February 10th, 2011
  • 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on February 22nd, 2011

A public comment period will be held on
February 22nd from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Written comments are also encouraged and will be received on February 22nd at 4:00 p.m.

Genivar has a delegation scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in the Council Chambers, 315 George Street, Wiarton.

This is an important council meeting to attend. It is an opportunity for council to hear Genivar's presentation and for council to hear you!

A public information meeting regarding the Sauble Sewer Project will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Amabel Sauble Community School, 555 Sauble Falls Pkwy.

There will be two sessions:

Session One: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Session Two: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

This is your opportunity to ask questions and to learn more about the proposed Wastewater Treatment Plant and Sewer Project in Sauble Beach. Meeting handouts should be on-line on Wednesday, October 13, 2010.

An All Candidates meeting will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Sauble Beach Community Centre on Community Centre Drive.

A Public Meeting will be held by the Planning Advisory Committee of Council of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula on Thursday July 22, 2010 at 5:00 pm at the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Council Chambers, 315 George St, Wiarton ON. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to consider an amendment to the Town of South Bruce Peninsula Official Plan and to discuss a proposed Community Improvement Plan (CIP) for Wiarton, Sauble Beach, Hepworth and Allenford.

There is a Public Information meeting for the Sauble Beach Growth Study scheduled for 9:00 am on Saturday July 17, 2010 at Amabel Sauble Community School.  This is an opportunity to become informed and express your opinions.

There is a Public Information meeting for the Watson and Associates Background Study on Development Charges scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday July 17, 2010 at Amabel Sauble Community School.  This is an opportunity to become informed and express your opinions.

A public information meeting regarding the Sauble Sewer Project will be held on Saturday July 10, 2010 from 10:00am – Noon and 2:00 – 4:00pm at the Sauble Beach Community Centre on Community Centre Drive.

A public information meeting regarding the Drinking Water Source Protection Draft Proposed Assessment Report will be held on Saturday May 29, 2010 from 10:00am – Noon and 1:00 – 3:00pm at the Amabel Sauble School
